Sem 1...done!

Yeayyy! Selamat bercuti utk diri sendiri!!...abis dah sem 1..3 sem to go. Harap result semester ni ok lah & excell...dpt menaikkan semangat tuk teruskan pengajian ni. Alhamdulillah lecturer UPSI semua best2. Loads of love to Cik Asmayati, Dr. Azlan & Prof Abu. Best belajar dengan diorang. Harap dapat jumpa lagi di sem akan datang. Sem 2 ni kemungkinan besar kena ambik 4 paper ni. Tak sabar pulak rasanya nak masuk sem 2.Dulu sebelum sambung belajar selalu terfikir macamana rasanya belajar di usia begini...rupanye mcm ni plak rasanya. Sangat berbeza dari masa undergrad dulu. Tak sangka di usia 33 tahun ni baru diberi kekuatan nak sambung belajar.

Bila cuti di UPSI mula...azam cuti ni nak cari bahan untuk projek...tapi masih blurr, blank & ketandusan idea apa nak di mulakan...elok saya mulakan dengan 'Bismillah' jelah..semoga lepas ni banyak idea dapat dikumpulkan dan adalah kerja yang akan settle...hmmmm...

GURU PERMULAAN OLEH  DR. ISMAL ZAIN
 
PADA umumnya impak sesuatu pembelajaran dan pengajaran boleh diukur dari sudut penyampaian seseorang guru ketika mengajar. Gaya penyampaian pula dipengaruhi oleh aspek kemahiran bidang kepakaran, kemahiran berkomunikasi, kemahiran pengintegrasian media pengajaran dan kemahiran insaniah. 

Setiap guru harus mahir dalam  bidang kepakaran masing-masing sama ada ia merupakan ilmu dalam bidang akademik mahupun yang bukan akademik seperti sukan dan seni. 

Segala maklumat harus berada di hujung jari ketika menyampaikannya di hadapan murid-murid.  Keadaan ini akan meyakinkan murid-murid serta membebaskan guru daripada tertumpu pada buka teks atau rujukan di tangan. Walau bagaimanapun bidang kepakaran ini harus disokong dengan kemahiran berkomunikasi dan kemahiran pengintegrasian media pengajaran.  Dalam erti kata yang lain gaya guru menggunakankan pelbagai kaedah  untuk menjadikan proses pembelajaran dan pengajaran lebih menarik dan mempengaruhi minat dan tumpuan murid amatlah penting serta menjadi satu keperluan dalam usaha mewujudkan keadaan bilik darjah yang ceria dan menyeronokkan.

Proses pembelajaran dan pengajaran merupakan satu tugas rutin dan berlaku berulang kali.  Topik yang sama diajar pada semua kelas yang terlibat tetapi gaya penyampaian guru kepada murid haruslah berbeza-beza mengikut kesesuaian.

Oleh itu apa yang membezakan antara satu kelas dan satu kelas yang lain atau seseorang guru dengan seseorang guru yang lain ialah kreativiti serta inovasi.  Isi pengajarannya adalah sama tetapi gaya penyampaiannya harus berbeza.
Seseorang guru haruslah mencari jalan, ruang dan peluang untuk meneroka strategi pedagogi yang terbaik untuk diaplikasikan dalam bilik darjah.

Seseorang guru yang berinovatif  sentiasa meneroka bahan, kaedah, teknik dan strategi  sebagai satu pembaharuan untuk diaplikasikan dalam proses pembelajaran dan pengajarannya.  

Segala bentuk aktiviti yang dijalankan harus pula mampu membentuk modal insan yang berkualiti baik dari aspek fizikal, mental dan spiritual dan dapat dipamerkan melalui prestasi yang baik dalam bentuk kurikulum dan kokurikulum. 

Ciri-ciri inilah yang amat diharapkan melalui Standard Kualiti Pendidikan Malaysia (SKPM) yang menjadi alat pengukur keberkesanan dan kompetensi seseorang guru terutamanya pada Standard 4 iaitu Pembelajaran dan Pengajaran dan Standard 5  Kemenjadian Murid.

Kedua-dua aspek ini memberi penekanan terhadap peranan, usaha, kreativiti dan inovasi guru dalam memantapkan proses pengajarannya ke arah kemenjadian murid hasil daripada kesan proses pembelajaran dan pengajaran yang dilaksanakan.
Apabila guru dapat mengamalkan sifat yang inovatif maka sudah tentu segala bentuk hala tuju dan aspirasi negara untuk melakukan transformasi mampu dilonjakkan.

Justeru, kejayaan dalam apa bentuk transformasi yang ingin dicapai terletak di bahu guru dan guru harus memikul tanggungjawab ini sebagai satu cabaran dan jihad untuk melahirkan insan yang seimbang dan berakhlak mulia seperti mana yang termaktub dalam Falsafah Pendidikan Kebangsaan.

CamStudio

CamStudio is a screencasting program for Microsoft Windows released as free software. The software renders videos in an AVI format. It can also convert these AVIs into Flash Flash Video format, embedded in SWF files. CamStudio is written in C++, but CamStudio 3 will be developed in C.

CamStudio is able to record all screen and audio activity on your computer and create industry-standard AVI video files and using its built-in SWF Producer can turn those AVIs into lean, mean, bandwidth-friendly Streaming Flash videos (SWFs)

e-Portfolio

An electronic portfolio, also known as an e-portfolio or digital portfolio, is a collection of electronic evidence assembled and managed by a user, usually on the Web. Such electronic evidence may include inputted text, electronic files, images, multimedia, blog entries, and hyperlinks. E-portfolios are both demonstrations of the user's abilities and platforms for self-expression, and, if they are online, they can be maintained dynamically over time.

The web serves as an ideal home for electronic portfolios to be shared with all different kinds of audiences. The main purpose is to provide a platform where people are forced to communicate concisely. This communication is vital in a portfolio so that others are easily able to see the energy, passion, and focus of an individual. In the digital age where there is a wealth of knowledge at one’s fingertips, the e-portfolio is just one more way that we are able to spread information. Electronic portfolios are composed of writing, as well as pictures, audio and videos. Therefore, more than just words are being communicated. 

E-portfolios also help to fosterand to independent and autonomous way of thinking, according to Strivens. This is in large part because people must focus on their collective work, think about how it will be portrayed, and what the work says about them as an individual. The individual is then in charge of their learning and the choice of where to demonstrate their proficiency. People are also forced to reflect on what they have learned and how they plan to build and improve in the future. This helps people to become more critical thinkers and helps them to develop their writing and multimedia skills. 

Today, many students are using multimedia such as: Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, and texting. These are all informal settings where students must get their point across. The electronic portfolio on the other hand is a more formal setting where students must apply both their knowledge of how the web works and the message that they want to convey. In this sense, student’s use and comfort with the web at times can he a hindrance if they are not taught to use electronic portfolios in the correct fashion suggests Lane. Many universities and schools are currently working to make sure that students are gaining practice and experience with electronic portfolios so that they are able to use them to the best of their ability. 

There are three main types of e-portfolios, although they may be referred to using different terms:
  • developmental (e.g., working)
  • reflective (e.g., learning), and
  • representational (e.g., showcase).
A developmental e-portfolio is a record of things that the owner has done over a period of time, and may be directly tied to learner outcomes or rubrics. A reflective e-portfolio includes personal reflection on the content and what it means for the owner's development. A representational e-portfolio shows the owner's achievements in relation to particular work or developmental goals and is, therefore, selective. When it is used for job application it is sometimes called Career portfolio.

The three main types may be mixed to achieve different learning, personal, or work-related outcomes with the e-portfolio owner usually being the person who determines access levels.
